How to make your own homemade pate dip using haricot beans, cream cheese, asparagus, pink salmon, garlic, sour cream, eggs, and spices. The salmon pate is easy to make, using only a food processor, a spoon, and 15 minutes of your time. This finger food serves 4, and is served cold.

INGREDIENTS:

6 oz. canned haricot beans, drained

6 oz. cream cheese

1/4 lb. cooked asparagus spears, quartered

1 cup canned pink salmon, deboned

1 clove garlic, peeled

1 oz. butter, softened

1 tbsp. sour cream

2 eggs, hard boiled

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. black pepper

1 cup watercress, shredded

METHOD:

Using a food processor, blend haricot beans, cream cheese, aspargus, pink salmon, garlic, butter, sour cream, hard boiled eggs, salt, black pepper and watercress. Mix until smooth. Chill for 1 hour and serve cold in a bowl with crudites, crackers and potato chips.
