4 egg yolks
3/4 c sugar
1/4 c lemon juice
1 tbsp butter
2 beaten egg whites
Cream 4 egg yolks and 3/4 c sugar. Add 1/4 c lemon juice. Cook in double boiler until thickened, stirring often. Add 1 tbsp butter. Remove from heat and fold in 2 beaten egg whites. Pour into baked pie shell and top with meringue.
